“Our time on board the Amatista was nothing short of superb. The whole experience from airport arrival to airport departure was so well organized and professionally run.

Our Naturalist guides were outstanding, both for their knowledge of the environment (wildlife, culture and geography) and their unique and extremely entertaining people skills. (Not to mention their musical exploits and dancing!) We have had the pleasure of spending time with many various naturalist guides during our previous trips to exotic locations, but we have to say that this 'double act' are the best to date. Their enthusiasm and dedication to their role is excellent.

We need to mention the crew of the Amatista, without whom the voyage would not of been possible. Each member of the crew showed pleasure and pride in their work.

Also the Amatista; a wonderful and beautifully crafted vessel that seems to fit perfectly within the surroundings of the Amazon River.

Finally we would like to say a word about our fellow voyagers. As the only 2 'Brits' amongst 21 Americans we were uncertain what to expect! We can only say that our fellow passengers are amongst some of the warmest and friendliest people we have ever meet! We hope to keep in touch.”
